Accidentally Contradictory
  It hurts,
She said as she cut herself deeper
With the knife she had handed herself
  I can't stop,
He thought sadly as he smiled
With the girl he had agreed not to love.
  Why me,
She whispered as she lay down
With the nightmares she had created.
  It's too much,
He admitted as he packed his bag heavy
With books he knew he never would read.
  Life sucks,
She explained as she took pills to live
With the decisions that she had made.
  Just move on,
He told his own tearful reflection
With promises still caught on his tongue.
  Love me,
She hoped as she looked at the boy
With her words telling him to not dare.
