I am the Calm Ocean Waves
One by one, however they please
Gradually rise upon the shore--turning the sand a dark grey.
Drop by drop, the water falls off of her towel
As she rushes to get her runaway shovel.
One by one, however they please
Slowly retreating back into the seas.
Piece by piece, sand under her sinking feet
Follows along back into their seat.
One by one, however they please
Floating peaceably among the bright blue horizon.
The calm ocean waves
Soft, simple, and subtle.
