Hush..
Don’t speak,
don’t say a word.
About the dread little words
that say a lot about the world.
Don’t talk,
Don’t hurt.
It’s all just easy
can be covered with just a smirk.
Ignore it,
Subdue it.
You’re stronger than it they say.
Even as it’s gnawing at the seams.
No need to struggle,
no need to fight.
Nothing’s harming you
Just tell it to go away.
Fear,
Judgement,
All the pain.
No one will get better,
no one will gain.
We can’t see it,
we can’t help you
everyone seems to say.
Giving up seems like the only way,
to a depressed,
anxious,
schizophrenic,
bipolar,
OCD,
Phobic,
or gay.
Who seem to have lost their way.

This piece means a lot to me because of the terrible realization that everyone is discriminated against and/or looked at differently just because they have a mental illness or they are different. We live in a world where people are supposed to be allowed to be who they want, yet we see all this hate when they be themselves.
