Fall in the Air

The air is crisp,
The leaves are dry,
The wind carries you high and by.
The breeze is bliss,
The cold is nice,
The peaceful state has paid its price.
The ground is hard,
The sky is dark,
The night decides to leave its mark.
The day is gone,
The fun is done,
The age of Fall has finally won.

Being part of Writers Guild in my school, we all agreed on the topic of Fall. Seeing how poetry is rather simple and quick to write, I decided to ponder the effects of Fall and write about it in a few lines.
