My Stupidity
Every time I saw your face I could only think of the time
That I wasted every single drawn out minute
Imagining all of the things I would be missing out on
Yet I still let it all play out in that way
In a million years there might have possibly been a chance
That I'd spend a fraction of it with you
Though I continued to let you escape the shelters of my arms
And I welcomed my broken heart once more
