"We are always feeling every emotion, but only a few are screaming."

His heart beat louder than the truck on the sideways street of Oak O’ road,
I remember  to five years in counting back,
His smile was contagious and now we may wreck,
The cars were speeding up to the headlights,
Little boy he used to be,
I imagine if we made one wrong turn,
The blood bleeding out under the steering wheel,
I texted my friend for support,
Next Ole day she did respond,
I think back if this not so jolly memory went anymore wrong,
A heart attack was on it’s way I could tell,
His face swelled up as he closed his eyes,
Better we run into a greasy old well,
Than the bleeding cars on the forest highway,
It was a long threshold of mirrors,
If something went wrong the tears vastly went to gears that could not for the life of them learn how to slow down,
“Calm down.”
The man yelped,
Momma telling him to breathe,
I thrust my head up to the roof,
Oh my goodness what if something drastically went wrong,
All I can think about is this song,
Lives flashbacks till this day,
We all survived but I can’t rave,
Still I go back on memory lane,
It could have been a wreck in counting,
How do I explain my rage of tears,
Family forgot all about it,
Guess it should just be nothing to me,
We survived the biggest flashback of our lives,
That is all I can ever think,
Wash my brain out under the sink,
But, boy I promise you,
That is all I will ever be able to think.
