endless cycle

trapped in a glass bottle
rolling from one bar to the next
seeing life through a curved glass haze
and I down another one
i swallow my regret
chase the vodka with whiskey
the alcohol burns my chapped lips
this stool knows my worst
but hasn't seen my best
I'll be back tomorrow
with new sorrows to drown
i've got no money
but nothings more important
than the buzz
