season ender
Fleeing up
and down the
court starting to take
big shots just to
make the result a
win
One by one
we manage to
steal the lead with
just 2 whole minutes
remaining in my 9th grade
season
With seconds left
the other team makes
a three to sound the
final buzzer that
I can still hear to this
day
While we do the walk
of shame of shaking
hands I can almost feel
them ripping the W off
of our 15 and 7
record and slapping
on a horrid
L
Talking...
the worst part after
a loss. The hostile
environment where our
coach critiques everything
he hated about our performance
and always ends with
“That one should not only
hurt me…. it should hurt
you.”
