Anything Can Happen
  Screaming, yelling,
  it all happened so fast.
His face had the look of regret,
as he told me had to go.
We were speeding on the brown dusty gravel road.
  He told me unsteadily,
  stale faced what happened.
  Everything around me got black...
  My life changed so rapidly,
  everything was spinning in circles,
like a ride that didn’t end.
My grandpa is having a heart attack I told myself slowly.
Did I take him for granted?
