Voodoo Dolls

The shelves hold every stuffed
animal I’ve ever had,
It’s kind of creepy.
With their happy smiles
and their dark plastic plastic eyes:
lifeless stuffed pieces
of fabric and fur.
My childhood memories turned
into my childhood nightmares!
Dolls go from pretty princesses
to terror filled plastic with dresses.
Meaningless.
