Favorite Quote:
Good things don't last forever, so cherish them while they're here.

The tears,
They’re collecting.
Creating an ocean
Of my despair.
As the seconds turn to hours,
I am drowning
In my sorrow.
I don’t know how to swim.
Please,
Can’t anyone see?
The pain within me,
It’s taking control.
I am paralyzed
As I sink deeper.

My lungs are burning,
Craving fresh air.
I can’t move,
I can’t swim.
I try to cry out,
But swallow water.
Has no one noticed
The change in me?

I want to laugh,
I want to smile,
I want to be
Oh, so happy.
But, I can’t seem
To find my way out of here.

My eyes burn,

My lungs they crave.

I need air,

But how do I swim?

I reach out,

Hoping someone will see.

I cry out,

Hoping someone will hear.

I struggle

To keep my eyes open.

As I sink farther,

And farther,

Into the deep.

Something written for those who are struggling to breathe. I know that it may feel like you will never break the surface again, to get that fresh air, but you will. Just be patient. Someone will help, I promise.
