Pondering Dreams
It's sad, when you think of all the dreams
We are forgetting
-every minute we lose one more.
Like Autumn leaves
dying and then
falling away-
-Forgotten evermore.
Maybe those dreams fly on the wind-
-until they reach the sky
And become stars
Watching us from up high.
But also
Maybe not.
Because forgotten dreams
aren't shiny and beautiful
they're just sad.
And also
because there aren't
near enough stars to represent
All the dreams
we ever had.
