All I Can Do...
It's dark outside,
And I'm beginning to break.
What more do I have to say than help?
The silence echoes it all.
Who I am,
Who I'm with,
Who I want,
Who will be there.
And the silence replies with the answer of,
No one.
So they come,
The tears,
In the purest form of fear.
Through black mist all I can do is,
Reach out for you.
Only when you don't reach back,
Does my heart stop.
Fighting the tears all I can do is,
Scream out to you.
But when you don't even flinch,
My voice fades.
Baring the loneliness all I can do is,
Sit silently.
Knowing you won't come,
Knowing you won't notice through my fake smile,
That I need you.
Knowing nothing will change,
All I can do is stay.
