Restricted Freedom
Say what you want,
please speak your mind,
you've got freedom of speech,
as long as it's kind.
Express your religions,
show off your belief,
that is, as long as it doesn't
cause anyone grief.
State your opinions,
please share your thoughts,
but if they're not common,
just don't get caught.
Show your emotions,
explain how you feel,
but then again,
not unless they're ideal.
So now I ask you,
are we really all free,
if we can only be ourselves
if others agree?
Apparently we've only got freedom
to a certain degree.
