His Reason
  The man,
  Whose scars they laughed at;
  He served in WWII;
  Got two purple hearts;
  Lost all his friends,
  And suffers from PTSD;
  Every time he closes his eyes;
  He’s awaken by the screams,
  Of soldiers losing limbs;
  Every time he opens his eyes;
  He’s horrified by the screams;
  Of children frightened by his face;
  If he can’t live in peace--
  What’s the point of living.
