Shadows in the Shade

watch me come to life
in a place darker than strife
watch me go blue
as I fall onto you
watch me climb a tree
as I look down my knee
watch me not make it to the top
where then I feel I should hop
down to where the impossible is reality
so I can escape to a world only I can see
where all my past memories can fade
down by the shadows in the shade
