Out.
Out of the closet
out in the day
out for the people
that are merry and gay.
Out in the chains
that still hold me down
not out for the people
that will surely frown
Out for myself
out for her too
not out for the people
that want something new
Out to be loved
not out to be hated
not out for the people
that say I've been baited.
Out in the sunlight
out not alone
out so I can be
at peace to the bone.
