greater than to be held.
To feel strong arms embrace you.
To rest your weary bones against another.
To warm your cold body within someone’s arms.
There are few luxuries in life,
greater than to be held.
For someone to hold your pieces together when you can’t anymore.
For someone to give you their strength when you have none.
For a steady heartbeat beckoning yours to follow.
