1;30 on a Saturday
I let out a melancholic sigh as I fall off the couch,
rubbing the god awful tiredness from my eyes.
Slowly staggering down the hallway, as if I had just risen from a thousand year slumber.
Opening the fridge only to shudder at the cold breeze
Clumsily knocking around.
Searching for the ever allusive Mexican cheese mix,
bumping into the microwave, the cold plastic door swings open
Pouring mountains of cheese that rival the himalayas on the saltiest and crunchiest of chips
Punching in the perfect time for the gooiest nachos 2:32
Grabbing the coldest beer I can find in the fridge
And kickin’ back waiting for my food to be done
The scream of “yo dude your nachos are done” from the kitchen up to my room
the greatest joy of all comes from
sitting on your couch with your buds
watchin’ tv
eatin nacho
and sippin’ some brews.
Easy and simple just as life should be
