Strangers
I was light
He was dark matter
And for awhile
We were happy
together;
We were opposites
So we assumed we’d attract;
But just like in space
We ended up colliding
And the collision blew us into
Pieces of oblivion
Floating farther and farther away from each other;
Until we ceased to be in the other’s memory;
Until we ceased to be all together.
