Only you and I can help the sun rise each morning. If we don't, it may drench itself out in sorrow - Joan Baez

The body was growing lifeless

Breathing for her became stiff

Trying to let go, but fighting the urge

A century made up the near lifeless organism

So much had been seen through those wrinkled eyes

The shriveled hands became looser every minute

Tired, poor dear, so exhausted

Breaths weren't breaths anymore

Spits of sound came out once every minute

One more noise there was

Here it comes; goodbye

A few long moments roll by

Heaven just earned another soul

But the body's chest opened and almost sat up

Another, last, clean, whole breath escaped

Then she sunk down and rested
