She was an unknown angel in a hellish world
But later she unfurled
She was like a petal
Soft  colorful  untouched
She was a painting in the room of warmth
Making viewers joyful
She was the brightest light in the world
But she left me
I remained a lonely fish
She left a huge space of vacuum in her place
And never returned
She went to the clouds
I tried to convince myself into forgetting her
Which was impossible
I used to stare at the mirror
Waiting for her to appear
When she didn’t
I was in despair
Hopeless and helpless like a caged bird
Waiting for her to return
I turned to the gods
Who took her away from me
I pledged them to take me too
But they denied
And left me
With an inescapable feeling of grief
She wandered in my mind
I will never forget her
The princess of paradise
The angel of love
The goddess of peace
And the love of my life.
