a life worth living
Kiss my forehead, lie to me
Seeking resurrection I decay in this life.
If I had a break, I would seek Barcelona
In a place where I will never be accepted
  I perish
  Turning out the lights
  Turning up the piano instrumentals
Near the fireplace is my place
Calling out for you with no response
  Anticlimactic
You were the red-bowed gift wrapped for me
And then you were the lump of coal
I long to linger in love
  I do not live
Yet a life worth living is what I seek.

You reared back and took aim at every ounce of my being
  I want to be free
  To get passed the things
  Causing envy and pain
  I do not live
  I exist
