Favorite Quote:
"Perhaps when we find ourselves wanting everything, it is because we are dangerously close to wanting nothing." -Sylvia Plath

I see her sit there ---

She's contemplating life.

The meaning of it all.

What her actual purpose

for being here is.

I wish she would not

drown herself in me.

It will not end well for

me or her. It seems as if

all she thinks about is me.

I want to be able to

push her to leave this slump.

I love being with her but

she is filled with so much

hatred for me.

I need to leave her ---

for good this time now.

She will be better off

forgetting me and all

of my pain.

I knew that's what

She would do ---

and she did.

This piece is a "through the eyes of" poem and basically you pick an inanimate object and you write from the perspective of that object. For this piece I chose to write from the point of view from something more personal.
