the sacrifices that are made for the babe that cries herself to sleep,
raise your glasses to the babe that lies and plots,
shield your weapons to the babe that is so bitter,
she turns away the most caring and apologetic people,
listen to the babe that learns from her mistakes,
listen to the babe with the scarred heart,
listen to the babe with the wise soul,
oh joy,
your babe is growing up,
cease the war,
shield your weapons,
babe is done fighting,
she is ready to accept herself for who she is,
royalty of a not so royal era.
