Get Lost
I have come to a T in the road.
The wind blowing through my curls,
“Left, or right?” I ask myself
“Straight or back?”
I ask the driver next to me where he is headed.
He laughs as if I should know the answer.
“Are you lost man?” He asks my
“Looking for a fresh start,” I reply
I expected him to give me places,
Hotels, parks, maybe a town.
“In that case, the fun isn’t in the destination, it’s in the journey,” was all he said
Little did I know, that’s all I needed.
