Vulture MAG
  Striped gray,
With a long, wide beak of a nose
  Old, wide-eyed deaf thing
  Cawing and screaming,
  With no seemed intention
Full of bones, rimmed with years, like
The inside of an oak tree.
  So outcast; a bruised apple
  When passing
  He flinches away from hands
That try to feel along his bony back
From fear that the slightest touch
  Will deteriorate
  Unkempt, oily fur
Back into the clumps of dust
  He feebly kicks
  Inside his litter box
  When he hasn’t found
  A spot on the floor
  Instead.
