Milkshake Eruption
The blender screams with excitement.
Its spinning silver dagger shrieks.
As it cascades into my mouth,
I stir its contents in my cheek.
Violently sucking strawberry chunks through the straw.
My brother rings
of intimacy with the straw.
The dam broke and began to flow,
continuing its disruption.
The strawberries cried for my help,
unprepared for the eruption.
The shards of strawberry ripped through my sinuses.
My brother screeched in agony,
as I crushed his foot under mine.
We laughed joyfully together,
as the lava made its design.
I would never live down such a catastrophe,
but memories with my brother become my reality.
Humorous poem about food and family.
