Nothing seems to work, nothing will fall into place.
I'm trying my heart out,
Forcing my soul into everything I do.

Hopes and dreams; how do you achieve them?
What combination of efforts and attempts
Will get me to where I want to be?

Like a box partially uncovered in dirt,
I can almost see my future.
All my desires reside in that box.

If I could reach it, if I could uncover, even open it,
Would I be satisfied?
Or would I be disappointed because I got what I wanted?

So I’ll keep shoveling, until the sun can’t lift itself in the sky.
Because what is life
