Why must I live this double life
Full of hope
And hurt
And lies
Every time I say goodbye
This life loops back another time
Why do i trust my inner saint
Full of tears
And truth
And faith
But when I really try and paint
The righteous colors turn out plain
Why must I pray and then get drunk
Double life
My heart
Is sunk
Still hoping for another sun
Under which my saint has won

It is very hard moving on. Our old self is still very much attached to us and when we try to change that old life comes back for more. Push through it. Change is hard. You can do it.
