War Journal
bullets whizzing past my ears
while ringing in my ears I hear
death was a constant in this world
no time to ask, argue, or quarrel
there was no time on this field
just survive my friends and attack and shield
I know we can’t complain but just fight
but what we should always do is protect our rights
I never hated a friend or foe
but what could I fight for, my friends you know
it was for you and all of my mates
to fight a war you need love, you never needed hate
