Sunshine
A single heartbeat echoes on under a darkened sky
A tiny world of monochrome where I used to lie
The days where long the nights where longer yet nothing was enough
Just a sky of grey that wouldn't fade away life was feeling rough
But in and instant the world was changed and it was for the better
A tiny ray bled through the clouds and I'm thankful that I met her
Flowers bloomed and color soared from two heartbeats now in sync
The sky turned blue and then I knew exactly what I'd been missing
A world light was formed of love and no one could reverse it
Sunshine had reached out to the darkness and gave hope and light
And together with their love and joy, their stars lit up the night
