Dive In
I stand with an ocean before me,
Buzzing fish in schools while I’m lonely.
Then the mirror reveals my eyes showing woods
Filled with should’ve, could’ve, and woulds.
My hand reaches out into the air
Only to miss you by a hair.
I swim in my melancholy.
Feeling has been my only folly.
I will make the choice to sink down.
I will make the choice to drown.
