The twisted tree branches
Scrape out the dusk
Paving way for night
A squashed berry falls
Unseen, unheard
An olive bobs
In the waters of infinity,
Then there's this throb
A throb entwined with the thunderbolt,
The clouds quiver,
Rubbing against each other,
Struggling,
A drop of water trickles,
Only one drop
This drop pulls at my heart
Tangled sinews
I stumbled through a haze of emotion
My foggy eyes
I'm confused
This throb threatens to rip arteries
The blood sizzles in my veins
I sit up,
The spidery nerves slither
My lungs are bound
They say that pain sears you
Yet,
It builds me up
