Morning light and dismal clouds
The day was sore and gray
Roaring thunder in great big hounds
And on the ground I lay
Tired from a sleepless night
Burned with a clouded mind
Moonlight shone a silver bright
While the rain sang me with time
Birds song and a brighter light
The lullaby sings me to sleep
Eye soon open to weak sunlight
And the rain is mine to keep
