Strangers
My mom once told em you never talk to strangers,
That is, until I met you,
The king of lies and deception,
An innocence like me who would never have dreamed,
Of course, like the other women,
You stole my breath away and i made space ,
For your charms and flowers,
Until I found the monster underneath,
The cause of my tears and scars,
Is none other than you,
That is why I turn to the altar of prayers,
Hoping to never find one like you,
Again
