Red cheeks ring true
fading into the sky
Orange tumbling from the heights
creates seas in its wake
Yellow obscures crystalline days
then gives to brighter nights
Green cuts into the deepest memories
blanketing every annoyance
Blue over a bouyant heart
and casting ahead
Indigo streams the concrete
that leaves death in its life
Violet lips burn moral
into the bleakest eyes
Gray faces bind these jots of wonder
these jots of color
where winter ends it all
