Numb, It's A Cycle

Why is everything so hard?
Why am I overwhelmed?
Why has my heart hit the ground?
Why is this all year round?
It's a cycle
That goes on forever
Feeling everything
Until everything becomes TOO MUCH!
Then, you go numb
When you melt you start to suck your thumb
Going numb
It's a cycle
Going on forever
Never knowing how you really feel
Because there is no real time to heal
Being numb is no longer possible
Because God is by my side
Catching my tears when I cry
Helping me to stay alive
