Seven Hundred
Thanksgiving is a time of cheer,
At least that’s what you’re told.
What they forget to mention,
Is the bloodshed,
The genocide,
And the betrayal.
What i am thankful for,
Is slightly unusual.
I am thankful
That i was not one of the native americans
That was brutally murdered.
700
Men and women,
dead.
They thanked god,
Then feasted in celebration
Of the bloody victory.
So as you sit
And prepare to feast
Keep in mind
The innocent lives
That were taken
Because of skin color.
