Room for Misinterpritation
In the middle of a storm
  Lines become blurred
  After all, Tears and raindrops
  Fall in the same way
  Laughter and sobs
  Can sound all too alike
  When there is background noise
  And not enough context
  Anger and Confusion
  Always seem to overlap
  Tones of voice
  Are easily misread
Of which nature were the words?
  A threat or a warning?
  Only intent can tell
If there’s a difference at all
  Our thoughts seem so loud
And we would like to think
  That everyone can hear them
So why does no one understand?
