Two Tone Poem
My color is scarlet red…
Bright and Happy,
Loud and funny,
Energetic and Curious.
Like a fresh apple on the outside,
But within, I feel like the apple rotting away.
The color burnt umber…
Picked on and hurt,
Sad and alone,
Frustrated and tempered.
Trying to stay with the fresh apple, the scarlet red,
But the rotting apple, the burnt umber, appearing more often.
