Two Tone Poetry
January 18, 2018
One half of me is rose---
sweet like candy,
as bubbly as rosé,
and passionate overall.
The other half is dark gray---
a bit gloomy,
like the slight drizzle on a rainy day,
And the clouds blocking out the sunshine.
I want to be rose all of the time,
but dark gray tends to take over;
more often than preferred.
