Where I'm From
I’m from slushy, icy, slippery roads
Knowing how dangerous this can be
  How I drive so good
I’m from morning walks around alluring sceneries
  How the sun awakens
  And so do I
I’m from closets full of clutterness
  Boxes on boxes
  The intensified sizeable differences
  I’m from March 12th, 2012
  What a permanent stain
  The sound of plastic snapping
  I’m from the Arctic
  So cozy, understated, and compact
You’ll be with me for eternity
  I’m from the box
I will take you with me for wherever I must go
Picture, medals, trophies, entirely for safe keeping
  Knee-high to a grasshopper
5’3 and the shortest of flesh and blood
How did this happen to me
  I’m from the turf
How did I ever get so blessed
Born under a lucky star, MVP and still going
And I’m still from slushy, icy, slippery roads
Knowing how dangerous this can be
  How I drive so good
