I'm Lost
I wander aimlessly through the forest,
As the cactus tug at my shirt.
The rocky mountain grows steeper and higher,
And my boots are stuck in the swamp dirt.
Vigorously I kick my legs against the current,
The cold snow stuck in my skis.
The echoing cavern looms over and surrounds me,
The grasses tickling my knees.
“How’s it John?” I hear over the wall.
“Pretty good.” I say back to Paul.
“We got a meeting in few with the head of sales.”
“Alright.” I reply, finishing my emails.
