Ode to the Trash Can
You are very smelly
Like a skunk.
You call the creatures of
Midnight to your festival.
They celebrate your
Treasures deep down.
Once they are in you
Don't let them escape.
You trap them under your hell.
They wait stressfully calm.
They escape under the spell
Of the morning sun.
I cry from the smell of you.
You are very heavy
And mad everyday.
Except on mondays when
You are empty and light.
You always start a fight.
But at the end of the day
For your messily clean duties
That I can never do.
