Tears pouring down an innocent face
Reaching toward beauty with a shaking hand
Heart swooping like a roller coaster
The depth of every soul-filled chord
Overwhelmed by the great simplicity of it all
Laughter
Craving wonder and adventure and love
Flying down the open road, hair blowing in the wind
Unstoppable
Soaring, fearless, toward the sunset
The adrenaline-filled joy of being alive…

Outstanding job! Terrific!
This poem is inspired by "Encore" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, one of the tracks of their most recent album, "The Getaway." RHCP have been my favorite band for a few years, and this song just kind of resonates with my soul.
