             You told me you’d always be here,

 

   So I wonder…

 

           Why am I all alone here,

 

    Trying to be brave,

 

                And you’re six feet under,

 

     In that haunting grave?

Everyone experiences loss. With an unexpected death (or sometimes expected), there are promises that will be broken. This short poem is about one of the most common.
