Two-Tone

Usually I am ocean blue.
As steady as the rolling waves,
I live a constant cycle of highs and lows.
My secrets remain hidden far beneath the surface.
Sometimes I am blood red.
Damaged and unpredictable,
it takes only a small cut to release anger and passion.
Hatred flows freely without a bandage in its way.
I am both of these colors,
but there are times when I need to wash my blood in the ocean.
