Two-Toned
I am cloud grey, like the clouds before it rains.
I have the same routine, I am dull.
I wake up, get ready, and leave for school,
I come home, go upstairs, come down for dinner, go back upstairs, and go to bed. It starts again.
I talk to the same people every day, not many just a few.
But when I am with him,
I am orange peel orange, and not the kind with green mixed in.
I have a brighter attitude, I am happy (when we’re not fighting).
We wrestle, smile and laugh, love and fight.
We talk, fix, work on, and fight about our problems.
We make up and move on, I still love him like no other.
But I am not just cloud grey and orange peel orange,
I am me.
