The Lonely Soldier

It is a bloody war we have to win.
I have no right to stop the fight,
To lose the war this smoky night.
My little son is now at home,
He hopes that I will soon return.
I love him more than own life,
My little sunshine in the dark.
Will I see tomorrow morning?
When will the life become returning
To the dark, dead, smoky world?
